Micropigmentation Device

Category: Consumables

A micropigmentation device, also known as a Permanent Makeup (PMU) machine, is a specialized pen-like tool used to deposit pigment into the dermis layer of the skin for cosmetic or medical purposes. Unlike traditional tattoo guns, these are designed for high precision on sensitive areas like the face and scalp.

Types of Devices and Applications

  • Micropigmentation devices vary by power source (corded vs. wireless) and their primary specialized use:
  • Permanent Makeup (PMU): Used for eyebrows (powder or ombre brows), lip blushing, and permanent eyeliner.
  • Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)
  • Medical Restoration: Advanced devices are used for vitiligo camouflage, scar removal, and areola restoration following mastectomy.
